Henry Edsill is an associate attorney at McCrindle Law, having re-joined the firm in 2013; he was previously associated with the firm from 1996 to 2000. Henry is engaged in the general practice of law with an emphasis on estate & trust administration and taxation, estate planning, wills and trusts. He also assists clients in the preparation of their personal income tax returns and real estate transactions.
Henry works to assist clients in formulating practical estate plans, incorporating in that process a thorough understanding of the client's assets, family relationships, and goals. He also conveys to the client an appreciation of the challenges that will be faced by the client's executors and trustees in the implementation of that plan.
Henry has more than 25 years' experience working in and managing various bank trust departments in Iowa, and is a Past President of the Iowa Trust Association. This gives him a unique insight into the practical issues involved in the administration of decedents' estates, personal trusts, charitable trusts, conservatorships and investment agencies, both from the client's perspective and from that of the fiduciary.
